Pebble Isle Marina Johnsonville, TN - Day 363

September 11, 2016
Day 363

Sunday we left Green Turtle Bay marina and crossed over from Lake Barkley to Kentucky Lake via a short canal that joins the two impoundments.  Lake Barkley is an impoundment on the Cumberland River and Kentucky Lake is an impoundment on the Tennessee River.  We made the 75 mile run down Kentucky Lake to our next stop at Pebble Isle Marina near Johnsonville, TN.  This was just a one night stop.  While there we met two men who were doing the Great Loop on a pontoon boat.   They called it camping on the water.  We ate at the marina restaurant where Sharon tried her first moonshine and her first catfish, both of which she liked.   When we were in Grafton earlier she had also tried and liked crawfish bisque.  She is becoming quite an adventurous connoisseur!
