Day 366
Today is our first anniversary of traveling on our boat! One year ago today we left home. Since then we've traveled to Fort Myers Beach, Florida and back, then up the East Coast to New York, up the Hudson River to the Erie Canal. From there we went up the Oswego Canal to Lake Ontario, across Lake Ontario to the Trent Severn Canal and on to northern Lake Huron, across Lake Huron's Georgian Bay and North Channel to Lake Michigan. We traveled down Lake Michigan to Chicago. From there we traveled down the Illinois River to the Mississippi. From there we went up the Ohio River to the Cumberland River to Lake Barclay. From there into Kentucky Lake, then the Tennessee River to Pickwick Lake where we entered the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway towards Mobile, Al. Tonight we are anchored near Columbus, MS about 330 miles north of Mobile. We have traveled over 5000 miles so far and should "cross our wake" in Fort Myers Beach within a month, completing our Great Loop. It's been quite a year.
